Amazing upgrade from entry level nippers. Quality cuts, affordable price.
I would still consider myself a beginner; I’ve recently built 4 HG all with only Bandai’s entry nipper and some glass files from Stedi. I recently was gifted an MG and I wanted upgrade my tools and came across this.I finally understand the advantages of single-bladed nippers and the difference is night and day. Where you would need a bit of force sometimes with Bandai’s entry nippers, these cut through as smooth as butter. The cuts are clean, for the most part (I’m still learning so that could be user error). I used to spend so much time filing down nubs and these nippers drastically cut all that time. I originally wanted to go big and grab a pair of Godhands, but I’m glad I got these first. Although I’ve never used a pair of Godhands, this pair is overall a huge upgrade from entry nippers while keeping that entry price. If you just started gunpla and have only been using entry level double-bladed nippers, you won’t regret buying this as your second pair.

Very good tool for miniatures.
Cuts through 40K miniatures plastic with ease. Super sharp and very handy. I bought the 1.0 very nice nippers. A must have for table top miniatures building in my opinion. I’ve used mine now for several months now and they’re still nice and sharp I’ve built about 10 kits now so far and they’re still good and sharp. I’m not skilled with these types of tools so I can only assume that they’re ok with a bit of abuse as well.

Gunpla game changer!
I recently got back into gunpla after a twenty year hiatus. I was trying to keep my tool kit and overall expenses at a minimum so I dismissed the thought of a second pair of nippers, I was absolutely wrong! I decided to give these a try because they had great reviews and were very reasonably priced. This ha e absolutely changed the game for me and have made my overall workflow much quicker, easier, and cleaner. They are very well built, high quality, and sharp. They make a clean smooth cut that is very precise. If you take your time to use these appropriately you won’t even need to use a knife/hobby blade and you will need very minimal sanding. One important piece of information: these do not replace your regular thick “cheap” nippers, you still want to use those to make the initial cut off the runner. These are used for a second cut to remove the remaining nub left on the part. You may ask yourself why you need a second pair of nippers but the blade on these is much thinner, sharper, and flatter. They cut the nub flush on the part without damage. Just a small amount of light sanding and you are ready to move on. With the simple addition of these nippers I was able to prep all the parts for an entire HG gunpla kit in about 20 minutes, this previously took a few hours with a hobby knife and multiple rounds of sanding.

These>godhand
Very premium for the price. Compared to the godhand nippers you’re not really settling comes in a nice case very sharp and well machined

Great entry level nipper
Great entry level nippers! Cuts through plastic like butter. Great for gunpla and many model kits All round very durable and has nice grippy fit n the hands also light weight. Saves time from having sand down all those pesky nub marks.
It was smaller than I expected but I should have paid closer attention to the description. I’ll know better next time. –
Fantastic nippers at great price!
Very nice nippers for the money! Cuts through plastic sprue like butter. I never knew they could be such a big difference in zippers and these won’t break the bank.

For the price? Insane value
My ‘daily driver’ nippers that I’ve been using for a couple years now are the USA Gundam Store nipper. They’ve been absolutely wonderful until one day the spring broke. The USA Gundam Store nippers were my kind of ‘first cut’ beater nippers. If I really need precision, I have a pair of God Hands for the final cut. If you’re a snap builder for Gunpla or similar model kits, this is the best method. First cut with a quality nipper that won’t butcher your part but doesn’t have to be the cleanest, follow up with something high quality for the final cut. Sand and polish and boom. You’re off to the races. So I was really shopping for a ‘good enough’ pair of nippers that will still give me a clean first cut, is thin enough to get into tight spots on a sprue, and wouldn’t just fall apart. Now I’ve transitioned from building more Gunpla to building more Warhammer miniatures so really my first cut is the only cut as every model will be painted but the criteria remains the same – a clean first cut. I picked these up after reading other reviews. I was skeptical. I’ve seen good reviews for absolutely AWFUL nippers. Nippers that crush the plastic, leave horrible stress marks, and have thick useless blades that make cutting feel atrocious. However, upon receiving these nippers I have to say – the reviews are legit. These perform wonderfully. Will they cut as cleanly as God Hands? No. What about the USA Gundam Store nippers that go for over $35? YES. Maybe the USA Gundam Stores are a FRACTION smoother – MAYBE. But these are $18 bucks shipped. That’s insane! The sheath for the blade is nice, the carrying case is magnetic and honestly so lovely that I feel bad that I don’t use it – only because these nippers are always on my desk getting used. I’ve built dozens of miniatures and began working on my first PG using these nippers for all of my first cuts. I have ZERO complaints. Will I replace these with another mid grade nipper? Not a chance. Look – this is the best value nipper out there. Easily. Get them. You’d be silly to spend more. These perform as well as any nipper that ISN’T the God Hand. God Hands are on another level and this will not get you there. But for a ‘daily driver’ nipper that will do absolutely everything you need? Yes. This is it. Insane value. If you’re on the fence, just pick them up. I have no incentive to give such a glowing review except that I believe our hobby products often cost WAY WAY more than they should. Before you buy a branded nipper from some company that costs way more than it should, LOOKING AT YOU GAMES WORKSHOP, pick these up. You’ll be happy you did.

I cannot rate these highly enough after using some cheap clippers from Army Painter these cut through sprews like butter, well worth the cost …does make me wonder how much better more expensive versions can really be.But safe to say this is an easy 5 stars for me

Cortan el plástico como mantequilla, pero tienen la tendencia de atorarse con el mismo plástico al hacer el corte.

Bought these to use with my 3D printing projects and much sharper than the cheap set that came with the printer. The included cover protects the blades.

works pretty well as a single blade nipper. a good entry if the Godhand nippers is a bit too expensive for you.
