   Top of the line
   OK, I didn’t get this for rock picking, I needed a mechanic’s pry hook, and this seemed like it would work. Turns out it seems to be sturdier than the mechanic’s hooks I was looking at, and at a lower price. I did round off the tip just a little with a file, as a mechanic’s hook isn’t meant to be needle sharp, and an prospector hook is, and this came with a SHARP point. Overall quality is excellent, price was good, and it is USA made. Saved myself almost $20 and all it took was 30 seconds with a file to round the tip a bit.

   Good hook for large cracks and. Crevices for mining. Sharp tip, and heavy/sturdy for build.

   Real heavy duty and opens cracks in rock well.  Scraps the inside of fractured rock well.

   Great Tool, USA Made
   Worked this pretty hard, crevicing in some shattered ledge… very good tool… would be nice if it had a carved wooden handle, but costs being what they are, I get it…Thats not a complaint, just a wish for a future updated version… regardless, it’s still an excellent tool.

   Excellent crevicing tool. Extra Heavy Duty.
   Crevicing is no problem with this beast of a tool.
