Great value.
Accurate at 90, verified by my machinist square. I saw one dum dum getting angles that were off by a few degrees, but it turned out they were indexing off the cap end of the peg by mistake. Luckily no one else was around to see me do it. 😛 Once used properly, the angles measured dead on according to my carpenter square. I’d call this a fine tool at a great value.

A very nice tool for the price.
For the price, this is a very nice square / line marker. After reading some of the reviews, it’s easy to see why some have the problem of the side rail not being perfectly inline with the main body. There is a small amount of play in the connection before it’s tightened. If the screws are put in loosely and then you put it on a known flat surface – you should then be able to tighten the screws and the two pieces will be aligned. After tightening the screws, the connection seems solid, stable and aligned.

Handy!
Dead square and really handy. Accurate clear markings.

Great for small, detailed work
Great in every aspect, came as advertised, only issue is that the 45° angle only goes up 3’in then it plateaus, it should go all the way to the 90° in my opinion

Works like a charm if assembled properly.
I used a granite flat to rest the two sections on while assembling the two halves, and this square came out as close to perfect as it gets in this size tool. 90 and 45 are both dead on compared with angle block standards, so no complaints there at all. Easy to read and use, and has a short instruction sheet for assembly and use. My only gripe is that there was no porvision made to store the angle stop pin with the tool. An embedded magnet and a steel pin would maybe be excessive to ask for, but I like gilding lilies. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Handy tool
The Amazon package landed on my porch with a soft thud, a small victory after weeks of scrolling for the perfect tool. Inside was my $15.99 Woodworking Square Ruler, a sleek, multi-angle scribing tool promising precision for my carpentry projects. As a weekend woodworker crafting shelves and frames in my cluttered garage, I needed something affordable yet reliable to nail those tricky 22.5- to 90-degree angles. The ruler, with its aluminum body and angle pin, seemed like the answer.I tore open the package, admiring the ruler’s laser-etched markings, crisp and clear against the brushed metal. The angle pin, a sliding guide for quick angle sets, felt sturdy, and the compact 8-inch length fit neatly in my tool belt. Eager to test it, I grabbed a cedar plank for a picture frame I was building for my wife’s birthday. Setting the ruler to 45 degrees, I locked the pin and scribed a line. The cut, made with my miter saw, was spot-on, the corners joining seamlessly. I grinned, feeling like a pro.Next, I tackled a trickier 22.5-degree angle for a decorative shelf edge. The ruler’s precision markings made it easy to set, and the non-slip base held firm as I marked the wood. The angle pin was a game-changer, letting me transfer measurements without second-guessing. Sawdust flew as I cut, and the pieces aligned perfectly, giving the shelf a modern, geometric flair. For $15.99, this tool was punching above its weight. But it wasn’t flawless. On a complex octagon-shaped coasters project, the ruler’s small size made long lines cumbersome, requiring multiple setups. The angle pin occasionally loosened under pressure, forcing me to double-check settings. And while the aluminum was durable, I noticed faint scratches after brushing against a nail in my workbench. A quick polish fixed it, but I wished for a protective case.By evening, I’d finished the frame and shelf, both boasting clean, professional angles. I stepped back, hands dusty, admiring my work under the garage lights. The ruler had saved me time and frustration, its affordability belying its precision. Later, I used it to scribe lines for a staircase repair, its versatility shining in construction tasks beyond woodworking. For $15.99, the Woodworking Square Ruler was a steal, transforming my garage projects with its accuracy and ease. It wasn’t perfect for large-scale work, but for a hobbyist like me, it was a trusty companion. As I hung the frame, my wife’s smile confirmed it: this budget tool had helped me craft something special.Word Count: 450
