I ordered this unit as a second line of defense from the factory filter on my air compressor. I have a 8 Gallon 150psi shop compressor from Husky and it only comes with a sponge type filter on the unit. The regulator on my compressor also starts at 25psi and when running a moisture trap I do not have accurate pressure after the trap. With this unit I purchased I now have a regulator and dual filters for my airbrush spraying adventures. I use my compressor to power airbrushes mostly and this filter helped get me a more stable pressure and cleaner air. I have tested the unit several times since I received it from Amazon and it has performed MUCH better than the stock setup. I set my compressor psi to 50 and the units regulator to 20psi for my brushes. I use this compressor for model painting and it is very much needed to have clean air for clear coats and the acrylic paints in which I use. A low pressure of 20psi is recommended for my airbrushes and now with this unit I can dial that psi in and it stays constant. I do recommend setting the psi and then spraying the gun and re-adjusting until you get a stable reading from the regulator. This will assure you have the psi you set throughout your spraying. I would recommend this product totally. I used the screw holes on the bracket to attach it to my work table and it is solid and secure. I used quick release fittings with Teflon tape to insure a tight seal. Works like a charm! Clean air and steady pressure for sure!

When it works, it works well. Started to fail at 9 months.
Line dryer/filter for compressor tank used on our 100 Watt laser. Easy to use/install. At 6 months, started to get a lot of corrosion where the bowls plug in to the filter. At 9 months, regulator started to stick so that output pressure could not be changed.

I had high hopes for this… from all the reviews it looked like a good unit even though it was a bit priceyit lasted approx 18 months then the gauge started leaking,,, finally the gauge wouldnt even work, there wasno way to tell how much pressure was coming out of the hose… I contacted the seller but still havent heard aresponse,,,,,save you money and get the cheaper units, customer service is a joke

I have to agree with other reviews. The pressure gauge is lacking…. Very small and hard to read. I mean dang, ya it could be smaller but wow! I have 3 ufo led lights in the shop that put out 19000 lumens a piece and I still can’t read this guage. Over all, great product, just wish the gauge was more user friendly

I love this little setup. I say little because it’s a bit smaller than I expected. However, it looks very professional and it has two different style filters within the same unit. The drain valves are easy to use by just pressing on them a little from the side. I did a PVC cooling rack system on the wall behind my 60gal Husky (don’t worry, I covered the PVC with a blanket so that it can’t kill me when it explodes in 20 years). I just love my system and this thing is at the very end of it just before my 50ft reel. Remember not to install these filters right at your compressor output. The line after it will just create the need for another one. BE SMART!

This unit was super easy to set up and after using it for several months now, it seems to be working well. Disassembly to empty the containers is quick. Once the pressure is set, it controls it very well and overall it has been a great buy.
