Handy cutters for multiple materials
These things are awesome. I use them in the shop daily. I really like how easy they make cutting automotive hoses straight and square. I randomly find new uses for them. I now use them for cutting to length heat shrink tubing when doing electrical work. They’ll cut thin plastic and wood, rubber, cardboard, leather, etc. Handy to have in the drawer.

Very strong! Bought these to cut thick plastic lawn edging material and these get the job done!! Impressed with the quality of construction and ability to cut through the THICK material. Will definitely come in handy for different odd jobs in the future. Glad we have these on hand!

Worked great for me
This is a review of these heavy duty scissors. I purchased these scissors to cut some rubber bumper, scrape guard for the front lip of my car. These heavy duty scissors were a good price and they had good reviews so I thought I would give them a try when opening the package. The package was supposed to contain five additional blades for the scissors, but this was not in the packaging. If I were you, I would go out and buy a set of 2 1/2 inch blades, you can find on Amazon for a pretty good price. Besides not having the additional blades as advertised everything else I like about the heavy duty scissors they said thereâs a very sturdy. Theyâre easy to cut, and their blades are very sharp as you can see from my pictures. The blades cut through the rubber, bumper, scrape guards very easily. The benefit of these heavy duty scissors is that you can change out the blades if they ever get dull I removed one star from my review since they did not include replacement blades as advertised.

NOT SCISSORS !!! Great anvil cutters!
These are great. I like them better than the brand name Craftsman Handi-Cut cutters that Iâve had for well over a decade. The blades are interchangeable with the Handi-Cut as well.For those that donât know⦠These are NOT SCISSORS. They are anvil cutters. What youâre cutting is cut between the blade and a flat âanvilâ.They are THE THING for cutting RUBBER HOSE, PLASTIC TUBING. AUTOMOTIVE WEATHERSTRIP, ROPE as well as other softer similar materials as well as softer WOOD etc.These will cut popcycle sticks neatly all day long, and there is no way to make neater cuts in hose. You end up with *perfect* cuts.I wonât be without them at this point, which is why I bought this additional pair.

Poor quality
I purchased two of these. They worked good for a few weeks. Then I had to replace the blade, the screws would not hold tight. I would not buy again. Both pair had the same problem. The blades would break every time I used them with just a cut or two.
