Warning !! American replacement utility blades won’t fit !
Parts were solid and well cut. Instructions and diagrams are typical Chinese translation–a little hard to follow at times. It cuts thin ship strip wood nicely, and setting the guides allows cutting many identical lengths in a short time. I went to Home Depot to get replacement cutting blades and was shocked to find American utility knife blades don’t fit–they don’t have the holes for the screws that hold the blades in place. On Amazon I found a limited number of blades that would fit, available at the incredible price of $ 7 for two blades. (DeWalt utility blades are 5 for $3). Who knows how long these Amazon blades will be available? A disincentive to purchasing this tool which I didn’t expect. Otherwise it appears quite good.

    Replacement Blades
This cutter DOES NOT use standard utility blades as another reviewer reported. It DOES use blades called Martor 199 (search the internet). I found them 10 for $10 plus shipping.

Solid chopper tool you can build
This is a nice little kit to make a chopper. It’s solid and sturdy when built and has nice mitre cut features. My only issue is the angle degree numbers on the plastic angle pieces are small/faint. Make the numbers bigger and easier to read and this will be an even better tool.
