    Fun for all ages
Great fun for kids and adults. In addition to using all the cardboard we get on our porches, you can also use more durable materials like plastic poster-board. Then kids can build and rebuild and even use it outside and not have to worry about rain. We are currently working on a cat house.

    Kids absolutely loved it!
My 6 year old is obsessed with crafting (especially cardboard), but that meant we had to cut and help her secure everything. After showing her how to use the tools for 5 minutes she is independently using all the tools, screws, and brackets to make entire towns out of cardboard! The tools seem like they will last a long time and still cut like butter after hours of play.

    EZ construction
I made a “club house ” for our very large cat. It was easy to cut cardboard and the nuts and bolts allowed extra cardboard to strengthen and reinforce the box. I’m 72 and I don’t think there is any right age for this tool set..I love it!!

Ok, these are cool, but not sure “children” safe as advertised.
I think child-safe may be an exageration. Yes, a 14-year old probably can use this set just fine, and probably younger kids than that, but there are sharp objects in this kit. The way you have to thrust into cardboard with the tools could get uncontrollable, and the sharp ends could go somewhere you don’t want. It is a great concept. There are little nuts and bolts to put the cardboard forts together, and when they go up, they are awesome. I think if there is heavy adult supervision, it works just fine.

    Very easy to handle
It cuts the carboards like nothing, and all the tools are very easy to handle.

    Great for Building Together
Great for Building TogetherI got this kit because my toddler loves building with me. (Please note that it is for ages 5+). Any time I have a project, she’s right there with her measuring tape, making plans and helping me put in screws. But wood is expensive, and I needed a cheap way for us to do more projects. Since cardboard is easy to come by and we can recycle our materials when we’re done, this is perfect. However, if you are looking for a kit you can hand to your kid and say, “go make something at the table,” this is not it. I was curious about the safety of these tools, so I tested the saw on my own palm and did end up with a cut roughly equivalent to a good paper cut. I’ve had worse cuts from cardboard, so this wasn’t all together concerning. However, I do think these tools, especially in the hands of a kid, could scrape furniture or flooring and, unfortunately, result in a knuckle cut and some tears. The tradeoff is that they are effective with thicker cardboard so you can make much bigger, sturdier projects, like the plane we built and that she now happily plays in for hours. I still think it’s a great kit, but it really depends on what you’re looking for. This is a “win” for me because I wanted something that allows her to practice construction with me in the garage. We can make our own designs and plans (which is awesome for her cognitive development) and she can practice with familiar tools like a saw and a screwdriver that look like the real thing (because they practically are). But again, if you’re wanting an independent, indoor toy, this probably isn’t for you.

    Ready for fun!
This kit is impressive. Two different hand saws AND a scoring tool mean that my kids can both work on building at the same time. The hand tools are sturdy, good quality, and fit nicely in the hand. Tons screws and nuts to connect items together! We got this out as soon as it arrived and my 9 and 11 year old were so excited to try building with it! After looking at the kit, I will definitely supervise their use to make sure they understand proper cutting technique to avoid an injury. The hand saws are not sharp to the touch – if I run my fingers along the edge, it doesn’t hurt my fingers. However, with applied pressure and momentum from a cutting motion, I could see it causing some damage, so I will monitor their use of these items. We are very excited for the creative opportunities that these tools will allow. We tested the tools and everyone was able to easily cut through cardboard using the tools. The screwdriver tool is more plastic and cheap-feeling for some reason.Overall, good product for creative kids who like to build and use their imaginations!

    Excited to Spark Creativity!
I haven’t received the Complete 425-Piece Cardboard Project Kit yet, but I’m already so excited to give it to my 9-year-old daughter. She’s always making creative projects out of my empty Amazon boxes, and this kit seems like the perfect way to support her imagination while keeping things safe and fun.Comprehensive Kit: The kit includes 150 short screws, 40 long screws, right-angle connectors, safety cutters, a scoring roller, a bamboo punch tool, and more—everything kids need to bring their cardboard creations to life.Designed for Safety: I love that all the tools have rounded edges and non-sharp tips, so I can feel confident letting her work on her projects independently.Encourages Creativity: I’m excited to see how this kit will inspire her to turn everyday cardboard into fun and functional designs. It’s a great way for her to learn hands-on and develop problem-solving skills.Fun for the Whole Family: I can see this becoming a fun family activity, with everyone pitching in to build and create. It’s a thoughtful gift for birthdays, holidays, or just because.I’ll be sure to update this review once we receive the kit and start using it, but so far, it looks like a fantastic way to encourage creativity and upcycle materials at the same time!

This item is absolutely brilliant, my 6 year old grandson had a great day designing and building a robot called Geoff😀. The one thing I would suggest if you are going to purchase this toy is to save your delivery boxes, egg cartons and other cardboard items to use when it arrives.
