Works pretty well, ironically I use it for sheet metal when doing duct work to easily measure and cut my pieces, haha.

Good quality item, well made and fair priced
This is just the coolest thing ever. I have T-Squares and triangles, but nothing quite like this. I like the way that it wraps around the edge of a 2×4 and gives you a secure feeling that you are actually square. It has measurement markings in several areas which comes in handy. It does come in two pieces with screws and you have to assemble it when it arrives but it’s very simple. Functionally, I find all of the rulers and markings very useful, especially when you’re trying to make sure you’re cutting a square flat edge. It seems to be very accurate measurement-wise and it’s very easy to use. I mean I’m a 60-year-old woman and it’s not rocket science! Very simple very easy very handy. Somehow I thought it would be a little bit bigger, but I guess it is big enough to do what I need it to do. Also, this is a lightweight aluminum alloy so I think the price is extremely fair for what you’re getting. I have paid almost as much at the local hardware store for plastic triangles. This one feels like it will last.Update 7/31: went to use this again last night and decided to use it for the measurements and I realized that it is only in metric. Previously I used it to make lines that I had already marked on a board. To me, for most of the USA this is a flaw. Most carpenters I know are still doing things in inches not metric. Anyway, I’m not getting off the star because it’s not usual for actually measuring, only for making square lines.

A nice took to use for small projects
The device is very well made. It is solid aluminum and is light weight and easy to use.

It’s smaller than you think if you forget to look at 5hr size in the description, but. It still held utilitycand I was going to keep it, until I noticed the machining marks on the measuring surfaces, what looked like casting shift on the side. It’s kinda suspect, so I returned it. Looking for something with some better qc.

Too Small
Listed dimensions (6.4 x 4.3) are incorrect. item is actually 3.11ΓΒ3.34ΓΒ4.41 inches.

Great time saver, note the size
I like this, I’ve used it and it works well. It’s small, so pay attention to the dimensions. It would be nice if it had both standard and metric, but it’s ok with just metric. I mostly use it to make a mark on one side of a board and then use the tool to make a mark at the same spot on the adjacent side of the board. It works great for this and saves me time when doing projects.
