GREAT tool for handling any sort of glass; also works with metal, tiles, most any non-porous surface
This is an absolutely great tool for use when handling any type of glass and most especially those heavy, plate glass sections which can be a bit hazardous to deal with. With these sturdy and strong suction devices, you can safely and more effectively handle those jobs working with glass, whether it’s replacing some small, home windowpanes on up to that large plate-glass which is used in some homes or commercial and industrial scenarios. The tool comes with extra seals for the pumps – two for each cup and also one of the flapper seals which goes in the bottom of the pump. There are a couple of thin wire tools which I assume are to remove the flapper seals in the bottom of the pump as I couldn’t find anything else that you would use them on. Included with this set is a pretty decent case in which to store and transport the tools. Also, there is a relatively cheap pair of gloves and a small cloth for cleaning included, which is nice to have to begin with, but you’ll want something better even if you don’t use the tool very often. The suction tool is very easy to use, just clean the surface of the glass, place the suction cup on the surface, pump it up and you’re good to go. Working with a clean surface is VERY important as you want to get a good seal on the glass as any contamination under the suction cup could compromise the seal, causing the suction cup to fail. One aspect I really like about this tool is, it has a gauge on the device which shows you the level of pressure (or actually vacuum) holding the glass. This is very nice as you can actually see how strong the suction is and also, if there is a leak, the gauge needle will start to fall, hopefully allowing you time to react. With the gauges, you have the visual ability to see that the cups are holding which can give you a lot of peace of mind, especially if you’re working with large, heavy sections of glass. To release the suction cup, there is a red button opposite of the pump which you can press. There is also a tab protruding out from the suction cup which you can pull to release the suction as well. In testing, I used them on a piece of glass, and they held pressure for well over an hour and likely would have held even longer. While these suction cups are made mainly for working with glass, they can be used on just about any smooth, non-porous surface such as metal, ceramic tiles, plexiglass, etc. Heck, you might could even use it to pull a dent out of a vehicle if it’s just a large area which may have gotten pushed in. Of course, it’s doubtful to work if there is a crease or the dent is too small, but it wouldn’t hurt to try!Overall, this is a really handy set of suction cups which you’ll find will make working with glass, heavy objects, etc. a lot easier and safer. With this tool, you’ll be better able to physically move, hold and position glass and also keep your hands, arms and body away from much of the danger should the glass break. With all this tool offers and can do, as well as considering the safety aspects, it’s a really good value.

    Must have for home owners!
This suction cup kit is such a great tool and easily stores in a nice hard plastic case. I have a large 8′ wide x 5′ tall picture window, aluminum frame, with a single piece of storm window glass. Getting this off is a two to three person job and we always end up with smashed fingers. With this suction cup tool, I can easily do it on my own! I would still recommend two people but I’m pretty strong ;-)Pressurizing these suction cups is quick and easy and I’ve had no issues with leakage. They build an amazingly strong suction force to the glass and I am confident in their holding ability. It is nice that they come with some extra parts like the o rings and filters, in case some point way down the road I need to rebuild them. The storage case easily fits and greatly protects the tool from any damage during storage, and makes for easy transportation.I highly recommend these for any home owner, as these can function on so many different surfaces!

    Effective and Practical
I ordered these to install some large thermopanes in an awkward place above a grape arbor. However, the replacement thermopanes I ordered in September aren’t here because of breakage on the delivery truck. Because I won’t be installing them until spring, I did some experimental testing for this review.I and attached one of the suction cups to a large window and tried to move it by leaning my weight on it. It did not move. It gripped well and stayed at pressure for a long time. Once my glass arrives they should serve my needs very well. The case is a real asset. It will keep them clean and safe. I do wish the instructions had been better. It’s possible that I was missing some documentation. Once I figured out how to use them, it was relatively easy.

Strong Enough to Make You Feel Like a Superhero
These suction cups mean business. I picked them up thinking they’d make lifting glass or tiles easier, and I wasn’t wrong. Once you pump that handle and see the pressure gauge hit the mark, it’s like locking on with industrial strength hands. They hold firm, no slipping, no nervous moments wondering if you’re about to shatter something expensive. The handles feel sturdy, and the pressure gauge gives real peace of mind. You know when it’s ready and when to pump again, no guesswork. The carrying case keeps them safe and clean, which is nice since one bit of dust can ruin your grip.I used them for moving a heavy glass panel and felt like I could moonlight as a window installer. If you’ve ever tried to handle big sheets of glass or smooth tiles without something like this, you’ll appreciate how much stress these take off your hands and your back.Pros:• Powerful suction and secure hold, even on large glass or tiles• Built in pressure gauge takes out the guesswork• Comfortable handles and solid construction• Comes in a durable case for easy storage and transportCons:• You need to keep the surfaces clean or the suction will drop fast• Slightly bulky to store if you’re tight on space

Heavy duty suction cups for construction
I work in the construction industry installing double hung windows on projects and this product has made life easier when handling the materials. The suction on each cup is amazing and holds on real tight to glass. There has been no issue with the cups slipping on glass so far and these heavy duty suction cups are simple to use. They are high quality, durable and a great value. The carrying case along with the other pieces that are included make it an even better bang for your buck. The pressure monitoring gauge is easy to read as well although we haven’t had to use it.
