This does exactly what it needs to. I have used it to inspect the cylinder walls on my BMW. The two cameras with switching between axial and radial (right-angle views) is a must.

GREAT!!…Buy this…Don’t buy one that connects to your phone!
I purchased this Dual Lens Industrial Endoscope three weeks ago.First some backstory…I originally purchased a different model on AMZN that you use with your phone. When it arrived I saw that I needed to download an app to have it work with the phone. When I went to the App Store and looked at the app it specifically said that downloading this app gives it the ability to see EVERYTHING on your phone. Btw, the app is from a Chinese company. I decided I was better off to return this one and buy one that comes with it’s own viewing screen, (meaning it doesn’t use my phone and I don’t have to download any apps).This Dual Lens Industrial Endoscope is great. The camera view quality is excellent. The lights are adjustable and the view also has picture quality adjustments that give you better viewing.My son dropped a screw in his bathtub drain and the magnet add-on was able to retrieve it. It also comes with mirror and a hook add-ons. The device also has a side camera so you can switch from looking forward to seeing what is on the side of the camera as well. The long semi-rigid neck is perfect for getting into hard to reach/see places.The price is ridiculously low for the quality of the camera and viewing screen.Bottom line, I’m very pleased I purchased this.

Update 3/26/25: I figured I would update my review. I received a few emails where the sellers tried to make things right. I did not respond initially, but I’m getting asked again… so in fairness, I will re-evaluate. Disclaimer: After going back thru the listing and checking the actual product images & description, nothing more or less than what was described was given.Pro’s:Picture quality is very clear at the advertised range (and beyond)The camera cord is nice and rigid (which will be nice when fishing it thru spots)It might be a good deal for a dual camera system depending if it’s on saleSeemed to work well.Battery keeps a charge for a long time when not in use (nice to not .Con’s: (based on item description alone)The attachments are loosely clipped-on and I wouldn’t trust them staying on (or in place) w/o tape during actual use.Con’s: (Based on Vine & early reviews… just in case you’re looking at them.)Unit is obviously a different modelAttachments are not screwed-on nor come in a nice bottle.No SD Card or Slot (slot is taken up by a foam plug).No option to take snapshot/movieNo menu screensNo CaseNo light on top of unitThe product isn’t bad for what it is, but it is not the product that initial reviews stated. This borescope functions as the description outlined, thus I’ve given it 5 stars even though it’s not really fit for my purpose.The user interface is simple and pretty intuitive. It’s easy to set the clock, delete pictures, etc.Switching between the two cameras works well. The 2nd camera is indeed a very helpful extra to have for inspecting an area.Long press the power button to turn on and off, so you won’t accidentally do either.The product feels sturdy.My problem:The focal length is too short. I want to look inside walls with this to get a lay of the wires and plumbing inside, but the focal length of a few inches doesn’t work for that.No fault of the product, it stated the focal length in the description but I didn’t quite understand the implications of it till I tested the product. Things under 6″ away look sharp and really good quality, further away than that and the quality and sharpness drops off alot.The main use of this would be to look into really close quarters like inside pipes.Options for inspecting the lay of inside walls:Whats needed is an autofocusing borescope with a brighter light. The cheapest I’ve seen one for is a Teslong autofocusing borescope for ~$120. There’s a wifi version without a screen for ~$50, but the view angle is quite narrow meaning that it’s not good for getting an overview of an area.

Works really well. Use it to find studs and investigate issues in walls. Easy to operate and provides a clear picture. Not sure how it could be any better.

It does work, even in water. Image shown on display pictures is just fake. The actual camera&display combination doesn’t provide anything like that quality or resolution image. The actual results are generally somewhat blurry with poor colors and washed out appearance. So even if it’s expected to make things look better in the sales photos, that to me is just false advertising and minus an extra star.Also, I really thought these things could record or capture for some reason… though it does not. Seems like an obvious addition and shouldn’t cost much anything to add a micro SD card port. A negative for some people but not others, so I didn’t factor that into my rating.

We had purchased camera for batter inspection purpose but the clarity is not what shown in. Camera is blur can’t do inspection, inspection mirror is far batter. Think before purchasing.Useless product
