Are they square?
I see reviews stating the corners are not square. Bad lot, damage or user error I donât know but those I received are perfectly square. Thereâs a similar red, aluminum set in a case and both work just as well.Pro:⢠This is one of only 2 sets I found with 5â bolts that will clamp 3â stiles, a common width for upper end kitchen cabinet doors and fronts. 4â is too short. It befuddles me why other vendors do not offer bolts even just a ½â longer to accomodate 3â framing.⢠Corners are aluminum and pretty though I find the plastic corners also rigid and square, just that the bolts are too short.⢠Includes smaller 2âx3â corners for 4â min inside dimension for 4 at a time assembly (or 2â for 2 at a time).Con:⢠No case. If you leave the clamps (knob, bolt & clamp) assembled they donât fit in the case anyway.⢠The corners are wider and the hook elbow and clamp are about a ¼â longer/taller. They do a 3â frame just barely while the set in the case can open another ¼â or so.IMHO:⢠I donât see an advantage to the extra depth, just takes up more threads. The only plus I see for this set over the one in the case is the smaller corners included. But for a little less money you can add a plastic set to the case set for the small corners and get 8 more clamps.If 8 more clamps were included in this set that could make a difference.

Almost Perfect, But NOT Square
It looks very nice with accurate scales, and metric and imperial numbers on opposite sides. Tut has a fatal flaw. They are NOT square! In addition, the lengths are not consistent with one leg being shorter than advertised.
